How to Create a Citrix Portal Shortcut to a Computer

How to add a Shortcut for the VAC Citrix Portal to a Computer Using Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.

Chrome 
  1. Open Google Chrome and navigate to URL: https://citrix.virtualac.amazingcharts.cloud.
  2. Click the more options icon (three dots) in the far-right corner.

  3. Click on Cast, Save, and Share or Save and Share (depends on version of Chrome).
  4. Click create shortcut.
  5. Assign a name to the shortcut and click Create.

  6. You should now see a desktop shortcut to access the Citrix portal.

 

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open Mozilla Firefox and navigate to URL: https://citrix.virtualac.amazingcharts.cloud
  2. Re-size window so it is not full screen, and you can see your desktop.
  3. Click on the padlock icon and drag the mouse to your desktop.

  4. You should now see a desktop shortcut for the Citrix portal site (Please note, the shortcut will open the portal in the default web browser set on the computer you are using).

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Microsoft Edge and navigate to URL: https://citrix.virtualac.amazingcharts.cloud.
  2. Click on settings and more in the top right corner (three dots icon).
  3. Click more tools, then click Pin to Start.

  4. Navigate to task bar on the bottom of the screen and press start (Windows icon).
  5. Click all option to view all applications and files pinned to start.
  6. Look for “Virtual AC”
  7. Click and drag the Virtual AC to your Desktop.
  8. You should now see a desktop shortcut to access the Citrix portal.
