Windows 11 has a new security feature named S Mode which blocks installations of certain software and applications. This tutorial explains how to turn that feature off so you can install what you need.
Via Windows Settings
- Click on Start and open Settings.
-
Navigate to Activation.
- Look under Switch to Windows 11 Home or Switch to Windows 11 Pro. Here, the name will vary based on the version of Windows 11 you are running.
