Download or copy the Amazing Charts installer to the new computer. The current version of Amazing Charts can be downloaded from Https://download.amazingcharts.com/v12/AmazingChartsInstaller.zip. If a different version is needed, contact our support department for the download link needed for your current Amazing Charts Version.
Right click the downloaded installer and select “Run as administrator”.
Click “Yes” if prompted.
If any 3rd party Anti-virus software is installed on the PC, disable any active protection shields (these can be re-enabled after the install is completed). Once disabled, click “Yes” -> “Next>”.
Click “Next”.
Click the option labeled “No, this isn’t the “main” computer” and click “Next”.
Click “Install”.
The installer will now run and install Amazing Charts and any needed pre-requisite programs needed. This may take a few minutes. Once complete, click “Finish”. Any 3rd party Anti-virus software disabled can now be re-enabled.
Double click the Amazing Charts icon on the desktop.
When prompted, click “OK” to connect the local computer to your main Amazing Charts computer.
Verify the “Browse to the Main Computer” option is selected and click “Browse”.
Browse to the Amazing Charts share on your main computer and open the Amazing Charts shared folder.
Select the “AmazingCharts.xml” file and click “Open”.
Click “Ok”
Click “OK”
Amazing Charts will then connect to the main computer and load to the log-on screen. You can log in as normal and use Amazing Charts on the new computer.
