Trouble Viewing All Patient Imports Items

Viewing All of a Patient's Imported Items
If the Imported Items tab says there's nothing there, it may just be hiding older items behind a date filter. Here's how to see everything that was ever imported for a patient.
The Imported Items tab on a patient's chart only shows items from a limited time window by default — usually the last 3 months. If a document, lab result, or other file was imported further back than that, the tab can show "There were no imported items found for this patient" even though items do exist.
This happens because of the Date Range filter in the upper-right corner of the tab. Switching it to All shows every imported item on file for that patient, regardless of when it was imported.

| Time needed | Less than a minute |
| Access required | None — available to anyone who can open the patient's chart |
| Heads up | The Date Range filter resets to its default each time you reopen the tab — you'll need to switch it to All again the next time you check |
Step by step
Open the patient's chart
Open the patient's chart and click the Imported Items tab, near the top of the window.
Find the Date Range filter
In the upper-right corner of the Imported Items tab, you'll see a Date Range box. By default it's usually set to a limited window, such as 3 months — this is what hides older imported items from view.
Select All
Click the All radio button under Date Range. The tab will refresh and show every item ever imported for this patient, no matter how old.
What happens next
The Date Range setting only affects what you can see in this tab right now — it doesn't delete or move anything. Switching back to a shorter range (or reopening the chart later) will hide older items again, so you may need to select All each time you want to see the full history.
